Worst Job Interviews Part VI

I could write a cute intro to this piece, but it’s so bizarre it has to speak for itself.

A company was recently interviewing for some writing positions. As part of the interview process, the candidates are asked to provide a writing sample. To properly gauge the results, each writer answers the same question.

It was an innocuous question, “Tell us about a touching movie you enjoyed.”

Easy, right?

Apparently, that question was a bit too open-ended. One writer decided to discuss two “touching” movies: Caligula and Shortbus.

I’ll stop there. If you’re not familiar with those titles, and you’re not easily offended, look up the titles at IMDb.

Again, it goes without saying, but this person didn’t get the job.
